Dr. Quentin Phung is a graduate of SUNY Upstate Medical University in Syracuse. He completed his residency in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at SUNY Upstate in Syracuse, where he served as chief resident. He received his fellowship training in Pain Management at the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor. He is board certified in both Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation and in Pain Management. Dr. Phung also has an additional qualification to practice Medical Acupuncture in New York State. He joined New York Pain Management in 2008. Dr. Phung has presented his research at conferences including the annual meeting of the American Association of Neuromuscular and Electrodiagnostic Medicine and the American Academy of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation.
His areas of research include neuromodulation and nerve action potentials in lumbosacral radiculopathy.
